2008
Birth of an idea in the heart of drilling operations
In 2008, our team of engineers and well-delivery specialists began a mission: to replace spreadsheets and siloed tools with a unified digital workflow for planning, cost-modelling and performance tracking. With hands-on field experience driving the vision, we launched our first prototype of the iQx™ platform — a cloud-based solution built to tackle the complexity of drilling time, cost and risk.
2010
From prototype to operational rollout
By 2010, iQx™ had entered active deployment. We engaged with pilot clients and live drilling programmes, refining our time-and-cost models and integrating real-world data. Our engineering know-how and close collaboration with drilling teams accelerated the standardisation of workflows and unlocked the first meaningful savings for operators.
2013
Global expansion
In 2013, AGR Software expanded its footprint across continents, supporting operations for our users from Europe to Asia and Australia.
2019
Full lifecycle coverage with RIG
RIG brings rig schedules into the iQx suite of applications, strengthening full-lifecycle well delivery intelligence.
2020
Multi-well campaign modelling
Our software architecture matured to handle large datasets and complex workflows. With the launch of the next-generation time and cost estimator iQx PLANS, our users were able to model large drilling campaigns in one workspace.
2025
Asia becomes a significant growth market
Asia-Pacific expansion continues as local iQx deployments strengthen confidence in iQx security and data governance, supporting the region’s accelerating digital ways of working.
