The annual Celle Drilling conference was held between 13 - 14 September 2022.
Our paper about the Monte Carlo probabilistic planning method and what it offers when estimating cost and schedule of a drilling project was accepted earlier in the year.
BD Advisor Daria Krasova's presentation concentrated on how applying the statistical Monte Carlo simulation method, cost and schedule distributions are quantified by the means of uncertainty analyses, giving the project team clear and transparent understanding of the risks and possible outcomes, enabling them to reach a well-informed investment decision.
